Candy land
Students will create their very own candy themed mini-world, giant-sized models of their favorite sweet, clay ice cream sundaes and more! The week will conclude with a special art show for families to come and tour the artists' creations from the week!
July 27th - 31st
Is there anything to inspire the imagination more than the magical happenings under the sea? Our projects on this week of camp will involve a vivid imagination, a multitude of art supplies and all things found deep in the ocean!

Using a variety of supplies such as greener, moss, clay, leaves and much more, students will design and create their own model fairy house. The week will also include making wearable fairy wings, wands and all things magical.
July 20th - 24th

Our Camps and Events
Inspired by the classic Go Away, Big Green Monster!, campers will build a monster of their very own, piece by piece, just like in the book! Each camper designs and paints a life-sized monster out of cardboard, then assembles the parts with brads so their creation can wiggle, swing, and move. A splash of glow-in-the-dark paint means the fun keeps going after the lights go down. Every monster is one-of-a-kind, from the eyes down to the wobbliest joint. Campers take home a monster all their own, ready to come alive after dark.
Because at Hello Yellow, it's all about the process. ✨

The Most Magnificent Table: A One Day Build & Paint Workshop
Inspired by the beloved picture book The Most Magnificent Thing, this one-day workshop invites young artists to build something all their own, literally! Campers will assemble their very own mini side table, then make it uniquely theirs with paint, embracing every wobble, redo, and "that's not quite right yet" moment along the way, just like our determined heroine and her best canine sidekick.
We'll kick things off with a read-aloud of The Most Magnificent Thing, then roll up our sleeves for hands-on assembly and painting. Everyone takes home a one-of-a-kind little table ready for books, treasures, or whatever magnificent thing they dream up next.
Because at Hello Yellow, it's all about the process. ✨

Firefly Lamps: A Glow-Up Day
Time to give a lamp a total glow-up! Campers will curl up with Eric Carle's The Very Lonely Firefly before diving into their transformation — first covering the lamp base in clay, pinching and smoothing it into their own textured design. Then it's decoupage time: layering torn tissue paper, botanical cutouts, and shimmery treasures onto the existing lampshade until it catches the light in a whole new way. By pickup, every camper takes home their own one-of-a-kind firefly-inspired lamp, glowing with their personal creative touch. ✨🏮

Falling in Color: A Pop Art Print Studio
Who says autumn leaves have to be orange and brown? Inspired by Andy Warhol's bold, graphic art style, campers will experiment with printmaking to turn ordinary fall leaves into vibrant, one-of-a-kind pop art paintings. Using real leaves as printing tools, campers will explore repetition, pattern, and unexpected color combinations with hot pink maple leaves, electric blue oak leaves, anything goes! Each camper will walk away with their own gallery-worthy piece celebrating the season in full pop art color. 🍁🎨

Framed in Fall: A 3D Picture Studio
Get ready to bring fall off the page and into 3D! After reading The Last Leaf together, campers will start by painting their very own wooden frame in warm autumn colors, no two frames alike. Then comes the magic: each camper will hand-build a clay sculpture to nestle inside their frame, choosing their own fall-inspired subject to bring to life an acorn, a leaf, a scarecrow, a pumpkin, even a cozy PSL cup! Once complete, the sculpture attaches right into the frame, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of pop-out art that's part painting, part sculpture, and totally their own.
